And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
And his mother answered and said, “Not so; but he shall be called John.”
And they said unto her, “There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.”
And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.
And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, “His name is John.”
And they marvelled all.
And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.
And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.
And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, “What manner of child shall this be!”
And the hand of the Lord was with him.

17. I Will Have Mercy, and Not Sacrifice
When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city
there came a leper to him, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus, and kneeling down to him, fell on his face, and besought him, saying, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.”And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him,
“I will; be thou clean.”And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

And
he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

34. He Shall Rise the Third Day
After these things Jesus walked in Galilee,
and passed through Galilee, and he would not that any man should know it: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. And he taught his disciples, and said unto them, “The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.”But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.
And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them,
“The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again.”And they were exceeding sorry.
